What sets HyperCarbon Carbon PPF Gloss apart
HyperCarbon brings visible-carbon looks to places that are normally just painted surfaces — and protects them at the same time. The surface carries a real three-dimensional twill weave that refracts light like woven carbon; not a printed pattern, but tactile structure beneath a high-gloss top coating with over 93 gloss units.
At around 190 µm (7.5 mil) the film is one of the strongest in the range. The TPU construction absorbs stone chips, the self-healing coating makes swirls disappear under heat. The surface also shrugs off chemicals: fuel, engine oil, isopropanol and soap solutions do not attack it — important around fuel caps, sills and the engine bay.
In the 2,000-hour UV test the material proved its colour stability; with proper care the look lasts up to eight years. Installation is classic wet application, with full control over position and tension.

- 01 Prepare the part Clean, degrease, check the edges — the strong film needs clean, sound substrates.
- 02 Apply wet Use application solution generously; this lets the 190 µm film be aligned precisely.
- 03 Align the structure Align the twill weave consistently across adjacent parts so the woven pattern runs continuously.
- 04 Form with heat Warm evenly on curves; the structure does not distort at controlled temperature.
