What sets HyperPROtect TPU Paint Protection Film Gloss apart
The HyperPROtect Gloss is the heart of the HYPERTIX range: a cast film made of thermoplastic polyurethane that invisibly shields front ends, edges and complete vehicles against stone chips and everyday wear. Because the material is produced in a cast process rather than calendered, it stays low-tension even on deep creases and curved bumpers — the film has no urge to return to its original shape.
The elastic TPU core absorbs the energy of gravel impacts before it reaches the paint. Fine car wash scratches in the surface disappear under heat — sunlight, engine heat or a heat gun is enough for the molecular structure to smooth out again. The hydrophobic topcoat makes water bead off and noticeably eases washing.
With a gloss value above 95, the film visually disappears on the paint: the finish looks freshly polished, not wrapped. A tensile strength of 5000 PSI and salt water resistance also make the film the right choice for vehicles in year-round use.

How the work is done
- 01 Prepare the surface Wash the paint thoroughly, decontaminate with detailing clay and degrease with isopropanol.
- 02 Apply wet Spray application solution onto paint and adhesive side — the film stays movable until the position is right.
- 03 Squeegee out Work the liquid from the centre outwards with a soft PPF squeegee, set the edges last.
- 04 Secure the edges Activate the edges with gentle heat and press down — do not overstretch.
- 05 Let it vent Allow residual moisture to evaporate for 24–48 hours; no washing during this period.
Frequently asked questions
Does the film change the paint colour?
No. The film is highly transparent with a gloss value >95 — the paint looks sealed, not covered.
Can the film be removed without residue?
Yes. The acrylic-based solvent adhesive is designed for residue-free removal; with professional removal the original paint remains untouched.
How does the self-healing work?
The TPU topcoat is thermally activated: under heat the molecular structure relaxes and fine scratches close by themselves — without polishing.
