What sets HyperShield Windscreen PPF apart
A new windscreen quickly costs four figures — HyperShield steps in before that. The film made of nano-ceramic TPU is applied to the outside of the windscreen and intercepts what would otherwise require stone chip repairs: gravel, road grit, airborne debris.
With glass films, optics are decisive, and that is this material’s strength: 97 % light transmission means clear vision without streaks or distortion, even at night and against oncoming light. The surface reaches 9H hardness; fine wiper scratches are closed by the self-healing coating under the warmth of the sun.
At 6 mil (around 150 µm) the film stays thin enough for curved windscreens and is cut as sold-by-the-metre material from the 152 cm roll — suitable for passenger car windscreens as well as motorhomes or vans.

How the work is done
- 01 Clean the glass clinically Use glass cleaner and isopropanol; even the smallest particles stay visible under the film.
- 02 Adjust the cut Cut the film with excess and pre-form it to the curvature of the windscreen.
- 03 Install wet Use plenty of application solution and squeegee the film bubble-free from the inside outwards.
- 04 Seal the edges Press the edges down carefully and do not pressure-wash the windscreen for 48 hours.
Frequently asked questions
Does the film impair vision or sensors?
With 97 % light transmission, visibility remains practically unchanged. For camera and sensor areas we recommend cut-outs per the vehicle manual.
How long does the windscreen film last?
That depends on mileage and gravel exposure. The film is designed as sacrificial protection: it takes the damage before the glass does, and can be replaced.
Do windscreen wipers work normally?
Yes. The 9H-hard, smooth surface is wiper-proof; fine wiper marks are closed by self-healing under heat.
