What sets HyperClay Detailing Clay Fine Grade 180g Blue apart
Some contamination stays on the vehicle surface after washing: tar, rail dust, insect residue or tree sap. HyperClay picks it up — the clay glides over the surface on a film of lubricant. According to the label, it improves the paint surface in the process.
The clay is blue, fine grade and weighs 180 g. It comes in a clear plastic box. The matching lubricant is HyperLube; both are also available together as a set.

How the work is done
- 01 Wash Wash the surface thoroughly and remove coarse dirt.
- 02 Spray wet Spray generously with lubricant until the surface is well wetted.
- 03 Clay Shape the clay into a flat disc and let it glide over the surface without heavy pressure.
- 04 Wipe off Remove residues with a clean microfibre cloth; before wrapping, degrease afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know the paint should be clayed?
Run your hand in a thin plastic bag over the clean paint: if it feels rough, there is still dirt in the surface.
What if the clay is dropped?
Do not use it any more — embedded particles would be dragged across the paint.
