IN DETAIL

What sets HyperClay Detailing Clay Fine Grade 180g Blue apart

The paint feels rough after washing? Those are embedded particles — rail dust, tar spots, industrial fallout — that no shampoo dissolves. HyperClay picks them up mechanically: the clay glides over the paint with a lubricant and pulls the contamination out of the surface without scratching it.

The blue fine-grade mix is deliberately mild and thus also suitable for delicate and dark paints. Before a wrap, the step is mandatory: every trapped particle will show through the film later. At 180 grams, the bar lasts for many vehicles — soiled areas are simply folded inwards, and the box keeps the clay clean and supple.

INSTALLATION

How the work is done

  1. 01
Wash the vehicle Claying does not replace washing — loose dirt has to come off first.
  2. 02
Apply lubricant Spray the surface generously with clay lube; the clay must never run dry.
  3. 03
Clay with gentle pressure Work in straight passes until the surface glides smoothly; fold the clay regularly.
  4. 04
Finish up Wipe off residues and degrease the surface — ready for film, polish or sealant.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I know the paint needs claying?

Plastic bag test: run your hand in a thin bag over the wet paint — if it feels rough, contamination sits in the surface.

How long does the clay last?

Until it is soiled throughout. Dropped clay goes in the bin — embedded particles would scratch the paint.
