What sets HyperLube Clay Lubricant Spray 500ml apart
HyperLube forms the wet gliding film on which detailing clay travels across the surface. When wrapping, it also helps felt and plastic edges glide over freshly applied film.
The lubricant is water-based, low-viscosity and smells of bubblegum. It is intended for paint, PPF, car wrapping film, glass and plastic, does not attack the clay and, according to Hypertix, is silicone-free. Filled in a 500 ml spray bottle, made in Germany.

How the work is done
- 01 Spray on generously Wet the working area generously — when claying, better too much than too little.
- 02 Work in the film Guide clay or squeegee in the wet film; if it breaks, re-spray immediately.
- 03 Wipe off Wipe off residues with a microfibre cloth; degrease with IPA before wrapping.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use shampoo water instead?
According to Hypertix, clay glides less well on shampoo water, it foams, and the clay can be damaged.
