What sets "Coppertix" Premium Copper Cloth apart
Window tinting rarely fails because of the film, often because of the preparation: on smooth glass and especially on the ceramic dot-matrix points at the edge of the pane, the adhesive bonds poorly — the film shows light edges or lifts. The Coppertix copper cloth solves exactly this problem: the copper structure microscopically abrades the glass surface and dot matrix without scratching the glass.
Copper is softer than glass but harder than dirt and adhesive residue: while rubbing, the 15 × 15 cm cloth picks up stubborn residues too. The material limit matters — the cloth belongs on tempered glass (side and rear windows), not on laminated glass such as windscreens.

How the work is done
- 01 Pre-clean the glass Free the glass of coarse dirt with cleaner and squeegee.
- 02 Abrade wet Spray the surface and work it with the copper cloth in circular motions — especially the dot matrix.
- 03 Rinse off Rinse off the copper abrasion thoroughly and squeegee the water off, then tint.
Frequently asked questions
Doesn’t copper scratch the glass?
No — copper is considerably softer than glass. That is exactly why the abrading works: it attacks dirt and coating residues, not the pane. Still avoid using it on laminated glass (windscreen).
Why is the dot matrix so important?
The ceramic dots are slightly raised and extremely smooth — without abrading, light edges appear under the tint film there. The copper cloth creates the necessary bonding surface.
