What sets ShadowCutter 30-Degree Aluminium Film Knife apart
The 30-degree blade angle is the standard for film work: pointed enough for tight radii and detail cuts, stable enough for long straight runs. The ShadowCutter executes this geometry with an ultra-sharp snap-off blade made of tungsten steel — harder and longer-lasting than common carbon steel blades.
The auto-lock system fixes the blade at any extension length by itself; no slipping mid-cut. The aluminium handle brings pleasant weight and stiffness, the integrated snapper removes dull segments safely, and the pocket clip keeps the knife on you instead of on the workbench.

How the work is done
- 01 Keep the blade short Extend only 1–2 segments — the shorter the extension, the more precise the cut.
- 02 Snap off a segment Remove dull segments with the integrated snapper, never by hand.
- 03 On the vehicle, with protection On paint, cut only with substrate protection (e.g. knifeless tape) or free-floating.
