What sets Shine & Slide 100 ml apart
Shine & Slide does two jobs. As a detailer, it is sprayed thinly onto clean film and buffed off: according to Hypertix, the colour then looks deeper and water beads off. It works with ceramic-based polymers and is intended for car wrapping film and PPF.
As a low-tack spray it helps during installation: some film adhesives grab so firmly that a panel can hardly be corrected. Misted lightly onto the substrate, it keeps the film movable until the position is right. According to Hypertix, this only affects the initial tack; full final adhesion develops after squeegeeing and flashing off.
Shine & Slide is compatible with PVC, PP, PET, PE, HDPE, TPE, TPU and PU. It is available in 100 ml and 500 ml spray bottles.

How the work is done
- 01 As a detailer Spray thinly onto the clean film and buff off with a microfibre cloth.
- 02 As a low-tack aid Before application, mist lightly onto the substrate, position the film, then squeegee as usual.
- 03 Refresh Reapply the detailer roughly every three months or after an intensive wash.
Frequently asked questions
Does the spray weaken the final bond?
According to Hypertix, no: the effect only concerns the initial tack while positioning; after squeegeeing and flashing off, the adhesive reaches full final adhesion. Test on an offcut first.
Which size is right?
100 ml to get to know it and for on the road, 500 ml for everyday workshop use at a lower price per litre.
