What sets Snappy Film Cutter apart
The Snappy replaces the open utility knife wherever material needs cutting to length quickly and safely. Its blade sits concealed in the plastic body — the material is pulled through, not the knife across your skin. Car films, plotter films, release liners, thread and thin card separate in a single pull with a clean cut edge.
The steel blade can be used four times; rotating and changing it needs no tools. An integrated plastic spring prevents material jamming in the slot. At 29 grams and a palm-friendly format, the cutter sits comfortably in the hand all day — for right- and left-handers alike.
Built for working with the HyperPROtect TPU paint protection film — more about the film technology.

How the work is done
- 01 Tension the material Keep film or paper under slight tension so the cut runs straight.
- 02 Cut in one pull Position the Snappy and pull through evenly — do not stop midway.
- 03 Rotate the blade When sharpness fades, rotate the blade tool-free (4 positions) or replace it.
Frequently asked questions
How safe is the cutter really?
The blade is mounted so fingers cannot reach the cutting edge — which is why the Snappy also suits hectic team cutting sessions.
Does it also cut applied film on the vehicle?
No, it is designed for cutting before installation. On the vehicle you work with a film knife and cut protection.
